My Sweetest Journee, today marks one year since you came into my life and filled it with endless love and joy. From the moment I first held you, my heart knew a love deeper than words can express. I dreamed of you since the day I knew you existed, from the moment I heard your first heart beat this love grew inside my soul. Something deeper than I ever felt. The day your were born I knew you no longer had to endure the pain I had inside.
Journee, you have brought back the light my life’s been missing. The little girl in me is reincarnated through you. Your big brown eyes have been so mesmerizing, I seen them in my dreams before I met you. The power you have ignited in me has been the push Mommy needed to recognize who I am.
Journee you have a big brother who waited so long for you, he has been your most favorite person. Days where I was tired your brother took great care of you, every morning you wake up he is the first person you see & you light up every time you see him. Nights I couldn’t hear your cry, he did and he would put you back to sleep so gently. At times you only wanted him, so you’ll make your way to bang on his door for him to let you in. Some of your best sleep has been right next to him. You love gazing out his window. You love a PlayStation controller. You only enjoy piggy riding on your brother’s shoulders & no one else’s. I think it’s his poodle like hair that you enjoy tugging the most while you’re up there. You truly love terrorizing your big brother in the most sweetest way. Watching the bond you two share has been my biggest treasure. Both of you are the apple of my eye and I’ll do anything to protect you both.
Journee you have no teeth & you haven’t taken your first steps but that walker you love so much will have you speeding like you have somewhere to go. My kitchen cabinets have been your greatest adventure. You now have your own pots and pans, in hopes you’ll leave mine alone.
Watching you grow, smile, and discover the world has been the greatest blessing of my life. My heart for you has turned me soft, so gentle, the scent of you brings me a sense of peace.
Baby girl my love for you will forever nurture you, protect you and guide you through every stage of life and it will forever remain constant. Nothing makes me more proud than to be your Mommy, Being a girl mom to you has been so much fun!

On this special day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and love. One year ago, You blessed me with the precious gift of my daughter, a light so pure and beautiful. Thank You for every smile, every tiny step, and every moment of joy she has brought into my life.
Lord, I ask for Your divine protection over her life. Surround her with Your love and keep her safe from harm. Guide her steps as she grows, and may her heart always be filled with kindness, wisdom, and courage. Let her walk in Your truth, knowing she is fearfully and wonderfully made.
Bless her with health, happiness, and a spirit of curiosity as she discovers the world around her. May she always feel loved, valued, and cherished. Give me the strength and wisdom to be the best parent I can be, to guide her with patience and love, and to raise her in Your light.
Lord, may this first birthday be the beginning of a life filled with purpose, joy, and endless blessings. Let her days be filled with laughter, her dreams be big, and her heart be at peace, knowing she is always held in Your embrace.
