April: A Month of Endings and New Beginnings

The first day of a new month always feels like a fresh page—blank, full of possibility. But this month is different. This month is mine. My birthday month, a reminder of how far I’ve come, how much I’ve grown, and how much more I’m capable of.

But April isn’t just about celebration. It’s also about heartbreak. The kind that lingers, reshaping the way you see love, yourself, and the world around you. Pain has a way of refining us, of breaking us open so that something new—something stronger—can take root.

And that’s exactly what’s happening. Amidst the loss, the lessons, and the letting go, I find myself stepping into something deeper: a new relationship with God. Not just in words, not just in passing prayers, but in surrender. In trust. In understanding that even the hardest seasons are woven into a greater purpose.

April has always been a powerful month for me—not just because it marks another year of life, but because it reminds me of my own strength. I’ve been tested, broken, and reshaped, yet here I stand. Still standing. Still growing. Still believing.

This month, I choose faith over fear. Healing over hurt. Purpose over pain. This is the start of something new….

Signing out, J xo
